Tempo
a Ruggi’s Brothers production
Alessandro produced the track "Tempo" on the key of A flat, building first an arpeggio on the notes of A flat, G, F, E flat and C produced with Vcv Rack followed from the beginning by chord in G Ab flat and C played with microKorg and the sound of an accelerated clock.
The aim was to create a moment of tension for almost the whole track this time, with a "fake" resolution in the minute "01:00" where the piece starts again with the addition of a chord played an octave lower, again on the microKorg.
Davide took over the visual part of the project. The idea was to create a sequence of images and short shots showing the meaning of time passing, the drops on the car glass at about "00:30" would be the visual representation of the arpeggio, while the figure of time can be found in the protagonist of the video, an elderly gentleman, who walks the streets of an old Italian town, during a rainy day that is slowly turning into a sunny day, like a rebirth
